* unless you're a chink, in which case we'll lie and cheat to keep you in solitary confinement and shackles until we break your spirit and railroad you into pleading guilty so that you can get out.  Then we'll look like heroes.  To maintain our political power, we'll deny you your constitutional rights, just like they do in Communist China.

     "No matter what the offense, you can't coerce or torture a guilty plea out of someone," Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa. said in advance of Tuesday's Senate hearing.

    Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz said he believes the jailing without bail was imposed only to elicit a guilty plea.  ``This case stinks,'' Dershowitz said, ``and the resolution doesn't make it
smell any better.  It only makes the contestants happy, but it shouldn't make the public happy."  " If he pleaded innocent, he had to remain in jail, but if he pleads guilty, he gets out of jail - it is so Soviet,'' Dershowitz said. ``It is un-American.''  9/11/00 Associated Press: "Wen Ho Lee Reportedly Makes a Deal".

    Notra Trulock III and the Republicans (Rep. Christopher Cox  R-CA) excoriated the Democrats for being soft on Communist China, the press (The New York Times) contributed to the hysteria, and the Democrats (Energy Secretary Bill Richardson, Attorney General Janet Reno, and FBI Director Louis Freeh, with the tacit approval of Vice-President Gore and President Clinton) scurried to find a sacrificial lamb or scapegoat. 
     If Democrats are our friends, do we need enemies?  Conspiracy to deny a citizen his constitutional rights is an impeachable offense.  
    President Clinton appointed about 200 Asian-Americans to patronage positions.  How many of them contributed to the Wen Ho Lee Legal Defense Fund?

2) Boycott Los Alamos, Lawrence Livermore, and other national labs run by the Energy Department.  Don't apply for jobs there.  You'll just be a high-tech coolie, a glass ceiling will prevent you from advancing, and they'll do to you what they did to Wen Ho Lee.

John Deutch's Misconduct is worse or the same as Dr. Lee's, but Clinton pardoned him!  "In Final Act, Clinton Issues Pardons," January 20, 2001 Associated Press.  
    If you are a white guy, you can download classified information on a disk for your future book and you can keep classified information on a computer and surf the internet on an insecure line and get a pardon.  But if you are a chink and download confidential (not classified) information to disks, they'll deny you bail and put you in shackles and solitary confinement until you plead guilty!

Who Wants To Be a Scapegoat?: Name the defendant who was denied bail, kept in solitary confinement and shackled in chains.
